The Graceful Passages
project began by asking spiritual leaders the question- “What would you say to someone who was dying?”- and then setting the essence of their response to music.
Originally inspired by co-founder Michael Stillwater’s experience singing for patients at the bedside in hospice, creating spontaneous songs for them, their families and care providers- and seeing the profound effect music can have for someone facing their life’s summation.
“The healing effect of this music and these words on our mind/body cannot be overestimated…
Graceful Passages touches us where it matters most.”
– Joan Borysenko, Ph.D., Author, Minding the Body,
Mending the Mind
