About The Film Series, 'In Search of The Great Song'

Our film series, In Search of The Great Song, explores and celebrates an inherent connection to an underlying creative 'pulse', emerging and expressing individually and uniquely by everyone and everything.

Our intention is to inspire the remembrance of this connection and encourage creative expression.

A series of feature documentaries is in development, each episode featuring a different aspect of expression around the theme of 'The Great Song'. The films include both known and unknown artists, scientists, elders and youth.

Our first release, 'Shining Night: A Portrait of Composer Morten Lauridsen', gives audiences a closeup of the man behind the most frequently performed choral music of modern history, uncovering the key to the enduring nature of his music.

Subsequent episodes provide in-depth exploration of 'The Great Song' in relation to Indigenous Cultures, Songmaking, Healing, Life Transitions, Youth at Risk, Spontaneity, Media, Science, and other themes.
