SongCare- How It Works |

| SongCare begins by making an appointment, which can be done through email or by phone (see schedule). When not possible to meet in person, the session is done at a distance, usually with the client listening over the phone. If the client prefers not to be present for the session, a preliminary discussion or email is helpful to communicate focus themes and issues. Michael can also create a songportrait purely from intuition. By phone or in person, Michael begins the session by introducing the process. He may offer the first song before being told any story, theme or issue of focus- a completly intuitive offering. There is ample time for speaking of any request, special need, or relationship which the client wishes to address in a song. A one-hour session usually consists of three to six songs, each song ranging in length from 3-4 minutes to 10 minutes or longer. After the session is over, a CD of the recording is mailed to the client.
